Sometime at the end of last year when I was prowling around either my hometown (Christmas visit home) or Kuala Lumpur (stopover on the way to the Christmas visit home), I realised that the years had started to blur together a bit. I had the idea that one tiny, baby-step of a way to start differentiating them was to have different projects for each year and that one of my projects this year would be photos taken each day around a different theme.
This year’s theme is Chiba City, Japan, where I currently call home, and here is where I put all the photos I’ve taken. The rules are few and pretty simple:
- This is strictly a 2014 thing. I’ll do something different next year.
- All the photos are taken somewhere in Chiba City – it doesn’t really matter where, just as long as it is in Chiba.
- I’m not going to promise to post every day. I’ve failed epically at Project 365 in the past and taking a photo each day is such a stupid thing to feel like a failure over. If I’m sick, busy, out of the country, or I just forget, I’m not going to beat myself up about it. Please don’t beat me up about it either.
- I will, however, try to post pretty regularly!
Here’s Wikipedia’s article on Chiba city for a quick introduction.
I also have a blog here, where I write random articles about my life and times.
That’s all です! Enjoy! =)
